Assuming you're talking from a production standpoint and Ableton's your DAW of choice, I'd recommend it a great deal. Especially if as rdej47 says, you aren't as familiar with music theory. Even if you are, not having to look at the computer and mouse click away is quite nice as is the recording of the automation possibilities with the twist of a knob.
2 x Technics 1210 MKII, Pioneer-DJM 900 Nexus, Traktor Scratch Pro, NI F1,
Ableton Live 9.6 Suite, Ableton Push, Studio One 3, Moog Sub37, Roland Alpha Juno 2, Korg MS-20 Mini, Yamaha TG-77, TR-8, Rhodes MKI Stage, Wurlitzer 200a, couple pedals, couple amps, lots of software and a freakin iPad
I'm definitely going to get Push this winter. Been wanting it for quite a while now.

Yea, I missed the chance to get an Ableton push from PSSL for $450 this past winter... No clue why it was discounted, but it hasn't dropped back down since.

Push is epic, especially if you primarily use Live's devices.
