I have one of these on every computer station I own, I used one live for a year straight of weekly shows, and if I ever need another hub.. this is it.

A good USB HuB is made by a good power supply... I bought a sitecom for 6€ with a 5V @ 1Ampere power supply... But to work correctly every port needs 0.5/0.6(peack) mhA so since the hub has 4 port if you divide 1 ampere for each port is not enough... So I went in a electronic shop and bought for 15€ a second power supply that is 5V @ 2,5 mhA... Now every port has the necessary power to work properly...

Don't buy expensive USB hub... The secret is the power supply... Hubs are all the same... This is the best and cheapest solution to have a working and stable setup...

And if you have a MacBook Pro plug the hub in the first port you find after the power supply, and the soundcard in the other port...

    The result is 100% guarantee

    Sorry for my bad English...

It's slim and bomb proof. I've used all 7 ports at once before and not even a flinch.

I use the slim 7-port hub by Anker and will also vouch for its quality.

Plus I like the little blue LEDs.

My 7 port Plugable just came in, and so far im stoked on it. Fast, slim design, LEDs as well. Right now I have 5 controllers hooked up to it, and its running without a problem. 5V power adapter, backwards compatible with 1.1 usbs and forwards compatible with 3.0 usb.
