So west end DJ and native instruments have reduced the S4 mk2 to £549.
So is this a good time to buy?
I don't think the S8 is for me, so unless they are coming out with a new S4, then I'm keen to take advantage.
I would appreciate the advice.

You definitely aren't going to see a new S4 anytime soon. MK2 was just released.

S8 will add to the like like Maschine Studio did, a replacement for the S4 isn't coming anytime soon and it won't get discontinued either.

Just hoping they update traktor pro soon, and fix sync between iPad. Maybe when the s8 comes out

A new version is coming, just don't expect a 3.0 release, they are most likely patching stuff and adding S8 compatibility.
