    Default Help please

Hi I'm new, I am having trouble with sound quality when broadcasting on Mixlr. There is a noise in the background and the sound overall is horrible. I have my master out 2 connected with a Red/White audio cable, to a JVC RX-884VBK ( It is all I have at the moment ) Then I have my booth out connected directly to my laptop mic in jack.
I use Serato, Windows 7 with a dell laptop.
Id really appreciate some help, Ive been trying to figure this out for a long time now, thanks, TJXavier.

UPDATE* Thanks for TRYING to help everybody but I managed to figure it out with help from a buddy. All of you are oh so very wrong. Yes you can run a line into your mic, no my sound card is not bad, besides my controller has a built in sound card. All i had to do was open my recording settings via mic... , and turn down the volume to around -2 db. Now I have no issues while streaming and very high clarity sound quality. If anyone needs help setting up their pioneer DDJ SX with windows and mix lr feel free to contact me for help.

    Lols.

Anyhoo OP, you cant really run a line level input into a mic input, as it then further amplifies the signal. Leading to distortion and noise.

Describe your gear in more detail and we will tell you how to connect it.

Most Windows laptops don't have that capability.
