love it man!! good beats.
Let me ask you, what style of breaks would you call your remix.
Its obviously flordia/booty, but there are many diffrent types of timing and beat patterns that are considered flordia/booty.
Just looking for your input, on what you think your sound is... Its pretty Plump Dj'esque with very syncopated bassline
If that makes any sense.
also.... any possibility of getting the Dub of that track d031999rowley@gmail.com

Ha ha makes perfect sense I was actually totally going for an old school kinda FL / booty sound, so you're pretty much spot on. Quite often I find my tracks heading into electro ish territory, so for this one I wanted to keep it a bit more open...less pads / synths and kinda let the vocal go.

Yeah, my friend Danny (DJ Resist) made this sweet Breaks remix
of D-Kay & Rawfull (IllSkillz) - "I'll Be There 4 You"......

His Remix:
As much as I loved the original back in the day, I can't help
but think it sounds better at this tempo.

This is not important, but I'm curious - by quick show of hands, how do people think the title of this thread should be written:
1) Breaks are Back!!! Or;
2) Breaks is Back!!!
Personally, I'd say Breaks is Back - because we're talking about "Breaks" as a genre, and not more than one "Break"...
But I'm wierd like that...

That is a good question. I vote for "are", because "breaks" are the sounds that make up the genre... Of breaks. I guess, I don't really see breaks as a genre, I see it as other genres like House, Bassline and Garage with breakbeats on top of it. It's a really wide and varied genre, so for me, everything is a different genre with breakbeats added to it.

Breakbeat is back. Breaks are back. Just my preference.

Good way of putting it, Sir Real.
I always used Breaks as a shorthand way if saying Breakbeat. But using Breaks as shorthand for The Breaks works roo...
