Default VCI100 & USB hubs not compatible?

    Hey folks,
I´m still loving my VCI100 (MK1 FW1.4) but it drives me mad because always I connect it to an USB hub with another midi controller (nanopad2), it disconnects suddenly. To be more specific: The complete USB hubs disconnects! The hub is powered and only the nanopad2 and the VCI100 are plugged in. So it should have enough energy for both controllers. But after some time, the controllers do not respond anymore. I checked the hub and found out, it works properly with the nanopad2 and other devices plugged into it. But whenever I plug the VCI into it, the hub disconnects after some time.
Do you have same experiences about the VCI? Isn´t it playing nice with USB hubs at all?
