Default Take innofader from DIF-IS mixer and put into another?

Anybody know if this is possible? I'm not sure exactly which version of the mini innofader is inside the DJ Tech mixer (hoping it's PNP!) but if its possible I'd like to remove that fader and use it in a Stanton or Vestax mixer that I already have

Stanton & Vestax > DJ Tech.

Take it out and have a look. Mixers are simple to disassemble and re-assamble.

the pnp is a separate model from the mini entirely. your best bet is to contact innofader and ask them about compatability if youre unsure about taking the mixers apart yourself. im not sure but i believe the mini would require soldering. you could always just buy an innofader pnp for the vestax or whatever...

Oh I'm very familiar with all of these tech details, I just haven't had too much time at home with the new mixer to pull it apart and check for myself haha

I'd love to gut it and put that innofader in my old Stanton SK2-F, I LOVE that mixer, I had an innofader in it previously but took that one out to put in my Black Vestax o6 pro, I still have the focus fader in the SK2-F but I like the tension of the innofader so if I could theoretically take out the DIF's innofader and pop it in the SK2-F I'd be a happy man without having to shell out any cash I already don't have haha

The SK2-F has full 3 band EQ's and pan control on the mic (big for me since i'm a beatboxer as well), AND master/cue switch for headphones (which the DIF doesn't have), plus 1/4" outputs besides the RCA outputs, AND curve control and reverse on the volume faders. So the SK2-F has a bit more to offer than the DIF still, I'm sure if this doesn't work I'll be buying another innofader in due time in either case.

the one thing that always bothered me about the sk2-f is the uber loud fader clicks. focus fader is still one of the most important things to happen to scratch DJs tho...

Fader clicks can easily be "dampened" by putting some insulation tape around the fader stem (where it "clicks" against the mixer/fader housing...)

You USED to be able to do it with little rubber washers - but the cut-in on the CFF is so tight that the washers were too big!
