There is no doubt that I've had my share of issues with the old standard equipment, BUT... I can't say that I ever seen issues with turntables, CDJ's, mixers, amps, etc., as frequently as I have with computers. Furthermore, the problems with the old stuff never seemed to be quite as jarring. That said, I love the technology and think the issues are worth it as long as the DJ is making use of what the new tech can really do.

All i ever get once in a while, is 2 to 3 second sound drop outs. And i have done everything possible to fix it, but it really only happens once in a while, and I can deal with it.

Had one Traktor crash in the last 12 months. luckily had my ipod on standby. Traktor came back to where its bread was buttered eventually.

Nothing has 100% up time but its how one reacts to mishaps that matters more than the mishap itself. My Traktor setup is very stable but then again I dont have anything on the laptop except Traktor and Rekordbox. Best to keep it lean and clean.
