Toyed around with it for a little bit. Works pretty well for the apps I have. Haven't checked latency is in Logic or Live yet, but planning on incorporating into my home setup.
yah i was thinking how nice it might be to play animoog and some other synths over midi.... and was thinking of dj apps that allow midi and a full controller..
id like to see some live implementation vids
Midi is only the notes being played, not the synth information.
But essentially that company has made a product that fixes a non existent problem..

yah but ad hoc wireless is figety and laggy...a wired connection would be way faster and more reliable?
and considering they make the most feature rich and flexible iOS dj app, and also one of the most stable remote ableton controls, i figure they arent wasting time fixing non existing problems...
something like this would make it possible to have a rock steady connection between like cross dj and a full size DJ control.
Midis data can contain synth information such as osc settings adsr filter and do on midi is not strictly notes.
Completely agree, i was posting pretty confidently without using anything like this myself. Only seen my friend use the wireless sync.
And your right about the midi data but im getting at the fact it doesnt import the audio through midi
of course not, but to have hardware control , wired , over iOS apps is pretty nice
