Using it now. Less flicker so far, performance seems improved, turned on multi-core support, using the 64 version.

Still has the dual monitor bugs (can't manipulate controls using the mouse if on the second monitor) but I have Kontrol units so it's not a big deal.

2.7.x was a real hassle. This version seems promising.

I've used 2.7.5 (also 64bit) plenty with the DJM850 and no issues although this is with a Mac ... If you're on a PC then you'll have to use the 32bit version of Traktor until Pioneer catches up to NI for a change! I'll be emailing my contact at Pioneer DJ in Japan to see if I can get any info on Windows 64bit DJM drivers.

    Top update, frankle.

I am on PC - so it looks like I'll only be using 3gb of the 16gb installed on my machine. For now...

Keep us updated on the 64-bit DJM drivers.

Traktor starts ok but the audio icon in the main display is orange in both versions. Also in control panel when you go to adjust the audio settings the audio hub panel will only open in the 32 bit Traktor. Opening the panel in the 64bit version crashes Traktor. Audio plays but every now and again I get an audio crackle. Have rolled back to 2.7.3 and set the processor affinity to use 3 of the 4 cores with its priority set to high. This was stable configuration for me. Will wait on either Novation or NI or further info from the community.
Update:- Now working. Had been racking my brains as this made no sense. Very odd but I had to open Traktor 32bit, adjust the number of samples from 512 downwards. Restart in Traktor 64bit and then audio icon blue in both versions. Strangely I can go to 512 again, however don't need to as overall performance is better so left at 256. The settings panel for the audiohub still crashes Traktor 64 bit though. But 2.8 working for me. A nice side effect found so far is that the jog wheel on my trusty sc2000 back to performing very well. Had got a bit erratic on previous few versions. Happy days.

I use my PC at home for prepping stuff & messing about using the built in soundcard - I installed Asio4all & it works a treat with 64bit - latency at the lowest which it wasn't before.

Traktor 32 but and 64 but? How do you start the different versions?

Been playing with it all day...

Performance is definitely improved! Running multiple programs and much less load spikes!

Track analyzing is also hugely improved.

I'm very, very happy with this update.

Seems like NI finally listened and put out an update to make Traktor more stable instead of adding more bells and whistles.
This is the first update I have installed in almost a year and it runs better than ever!!
