this has been going on for about a year now, maybe longer actually, I remember seeing a line 6 pod on the shelf one day and doing a serious double take when I bought a new hard drive.

Best Buy has sold keyboards and beginner guitars. This is just another beginner market they are trying to tap into, especially with the release of DJ Hero.
