Default Surge Protection on DJ Booths

So I've been told surge protection is important for digital DJs and I've been looking at this on ebay: http://www.ebay.com/itm/TRIPP-LITE-I...item3aafc0394b

After googling a bit I've discovered that you shouldn't daisy chain surge protectors, cause bla bla bla electric theory bla bla bla.

Are club DJ Booths already surge protected?

    Thanks.

Tripplite is decent for this kind of thing, cheap & effective

Power protection is critical for any sensitive computerized devices. A bit is determined by a 1 or a 0 (binary code), processors use voltage changes to determine if its a 1 or a 0. If your power is wonky, the voltage will fluctuate & not be accurate causing all kinds of problems for HDDs, OS, Networks & software applications.

As far as clubs go, that will vary greatly. Some booths will have dedicated circuitry that is protected, others will just have you set up in the corner & plug into any available outlet. But even if they do have some protection, if the club is in a part of town where the grid itself sucks, power issues can still be prevalent.

True. Everyone should slide a power conditioner into their coffin/flight case if you are plugging in anywhere.

Could you guys give me examples of good and cheap power conditioners? I don't need more than 4 outlets

    Thanks

Thanks but that is not portable enough for me, is there any more portable option?

    I need a minimum of 2 outlets

    I've found this one: http://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/produc...l/prm/alsVwDtl

This seems to be portable enough

    EDIT:

Actually this one seems to be even better, it's smaller and the outlets are turned upside down, so my A10 and my Macbook can be easily conected: http://www.snapav.com/p-1116-wb-200-2.aspx
