    Default College DJ needs help.

So I've been DJ'ing house parties at my school for about a semester now and as much as I get complimented I still think there is room for improvement. I go to school in Norfolk and most of the student body is from Virginia/Maryland area. They're not as big into electro/progressive house here, which is what I normally play for myself. I'm looking to add some more hip hop and rap into my sets as well as something that will start off getting people onto the floor (last year it was uptown funk). I'm also looking to add in throwbacks from the early 2000s. I've searched for threads regarding this already but have come up empty. If there are links to them please feel free to link them in.

    That excuse is wack.

I literally typed "djtt college playlist" into google.

Im all for helping out, but i dont understand why some people think forums are a service where they come to ask other people to google things for them.

IMO people just expect websites to have search engines that will do a better job than google.

I work at a hardware store with a large online catalogue of many thousands of products. I am literally the only person out of dozens of staff members who has realised that google is much quicker and more powerful at matching keywords to products than the company's search engine. I go around telling people all the time, but nobody takes note... and what's more, they're always complaining about how bad our search engine is, how it shows chainsaw oil when you search for "light switches".
