Will hardware companies finally realize it will be easier just to release a complete touchscreen controller thats fully customizable with tactile feedback. Include some capacitive knobs and faders and boom.

On a sidenote, I ripped aprt a stylus that I had, glued the material toa knob and placed it on my tablet in line with the knob in touchosc and damn was I astounded.

Or the ability to plug in an iPad as the brain & touchscreen interface of the device.

*fixed. I totally agree. Touch screen is the future. My next investment probably will be a couple touch screen monitors for the studio. FL and ABleton both support multitouch on windows devices.

No beef against apple. I have just always been a huge fan of open source development. For which, apple has not been the most supportive.

Also known as the Push 1 with a better display.

The push is great but has a few annoying limitations preventing me for fully utilising it as a serious production device...fortunately it has an active developer community so somethings can be added to improve the experience (opening it up to NI VSTS, sample browsing etc..)

I haven't used it for about a year so maybe it's better these days.

touch overlays... you can get them in any size and wire them to a tv screen i run a 46" nec in the studio, and would love to add a touch overlay to it...
