Default Bpm Fluctuation on slave laptop MIDI Clock

    2 lappy's running Traktor Pro 2
Midi clock set up on MIDI over Ethernet - machines connected via 0.5m ethernet cable.
    Slave lappy recieving clock data.
Fluctuation is not bad 0.1/0.2%, until bpm is adjusted on master, then Slave bpm fluctuates constantly, but very slight amounts.
Any ideas why this would be the case?

    Cheers
