    Question Correcting Tempo Shifts

Hey guys, I just wanted to know what technique, if any, was used in correcting shifts in tempo using a DAW or editor. I have a bomb track that was ripped from vinyl and given to me, but the tempo shifts dramatically out of sync during the beginning and end of the tune. Perhaps this was done as a joke, or the motor on the turntable has gone craps. I'd like to correct it. I was going to chop up and stretch parts of the loops and sequence them out, but this will probably take much longer than necessary. Does anyone have some tips?

do you own ableton? If so you can warp it in there and then render to disk for a tight as your warp markers version of the prigional rip.

You could create multiple grids in the track also.
