Default External Recording Broken in 1.2.1?

wondering if anyone else is experiencing this. my mixer "tape out" is hooked up to channel c line in of my audio 8, tpro recording prefs set to external, on channel c. i can see that signal is being received by the audio 8, but when i hit record in tpro, nothing. adjusting gain does nothing to help the situation.

    hm?

side note - internal recording works

it's not actually going through deck c per say. the audio 8 has "channels" that inputs/outputs are broken up into. "channel c" refers to input 5/6.

and there are no signal meters in the recording prefs. :\

Mite sound daft but on the recording box at the top check the gain knob/recording volume? Probably too obvious for that to be the case but it's all I can think of

edit: just re read your post, you've already done that. Sorry!

I've been using an Audio8 for a while, man just been a while since I've done external recording while DJing.

If the preferences, where you set everything up you need to make sure it's getting a signal.

On the Audio8, make sure the button next to mic is set to Line or whatever it reads out as so it reads the RCA lines you have plugged in. The Audio8 should read the signal, and the recording prefs should show an incoming signal.
