    Default Middle Eastern Underground

I spent a couple weeks in Cairo not too long ago- and didnt have a way to rip the more underground -cairo-pop and oldskool cd's that were everywhere- Anybody have any Artist recommendations or digital/online sources of crusty arabic treasures and old-skool collections from anywhere in the middle east. (Beirut/Cairo/Saudi Penninsula/ etc.... ) i'm only mildly obsessed with the melodies...

I really love hearing stuff like this from other countries, but unfortunately, when I was heaviest into it I found it difficult to find stuff from the middle east so what little I know is pretty mainstream. The most memorable artist from when I was digging the stuff up was Bassima, my favorite track being Ayni Ya-mo.

I'd be down for hearing some of this as well. Might fit into a Tech House set nicely.
