    Default Mixxx 2.0 Released

    On behalf of the Mixxx team I'm proud to announce the release of Mixxx 2.0! This release is over 2.5 years in the making and packs a ton of new features and improvements.

    * New Effects Framework with 4 Effect Units and 10 Built-in Effects
    * Configurable, Resizable User Interface with 3 Brand New Skins
    * Cover Art Display
    * Music Key Detection and Shifting
    * Vinyl Audio Pass-Through
    * 4 Microphone inputs and 4 Auxiliary inputs
    * MIDI Mapping GUI and Improved Learning Wizard
    * RGB Musical Waveforms
    * New Pitch-Independent Algorithm for Better-Sounding Key-lock
    * AcoustId fingerprinting and MusicBrainz metadata lookup
    * Hundreds of Bug Fixes and Improvements

    Pretty awesome stuff... will have to check it out. I use my own self-written software, but Mixxx was where I started my journey and it will always have a special place in my heart.

    Liking the added Denon HS5500 support Does Mixxx support the rotating platter via midi?

    Oh, yeah, good point! The NS7 is listed too... would be very interested to see code that supports those spinning platters.

    hahahahahahah. Considering my software is private for me only, and I don't actually own an NS7, it is purely a matter of curiosity.

    Are moving platters using seperate HID controls when in motion? I never had the chance to sit down and try to work with one with midi. I always imagined it was just a jogwheel with a motor attached to it.

    Is it turning the jogs? It looks like it is, although some constants are not in that file... might have to do a checkout on that. Thanks!
