Default Replacing cable on Sennheiser HD25...

I've been having audio dropout in my Sennheiser HD25s. Any idea if replacing the cable would fix the problem?

If wiggling the cable changes audio then most likely yes.

Check where the cable plugs in to the earpieces, they can sometimes work loose.

To bring the audio back in, I wiggle the cups (not the actual cable) and that does the trick. Now I wonder if it's something inside the driver of the ear cup. Shit.

Check the audio cables that go into the cups. Moving the cups can just as easily fix the cable connection.

I doubt the drivers are damaged unless you stepped on the headphones.
