Default Any good trance tracks after 2013 ? ?

Haven't been keeping up with trance for a while after 2013.
Is it still alive or pretty much dead ?

Any trance music fans still out there ?

    Check out this guy: http://www.djmadwave.com/

He is a friend of mine also from Switzerland and he turned professional Dj only 2-3 years ago.
The Trance Scene over here is still alive.

Yes, the Trance seen is flourishing after the commercial sounds came in and guys like Ferry, Armin, Marco V, Marcel Woods produced a lot of Big Room Tomorrowland Mainstage sound, other producers took advantage and went the opposite direction and pushed the dark and techy sounds. Have a listen to this brand new bomb: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sv32I4SK288
    Or The Noble Six: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P7z5EbquTtU

Check out Damaged Records, Kearnage Recordings, Discover Dark, Outburst Records.

I listen to the Ferry Corsten Podcast (Corsten's Countdown) occasionally, and it has got very predictable, some decent new stuff, but the variety has definitely taken a step in the wrong direction.

Yep… Forbes sits better in the 'Tech Trance' genre.

I'm going to agree. The trance today sounds all the same and is pretty much cheese at this point.

I'm not a trance guy but I don't believe this at all. People innovate, and I bet there is something pushing the genre at this point. It's probably just a case of digging.

The Italians were making disco until the late 80's - no one wanted it outside of that country.

Trance is pretty much the same now - low quality releases (compared to 15 years ago) and the market has moved on to other types of dance music.

Funny since in 04/05 when Trance was declining, I moved hard into Progressive House.

There's still solid releases in the Psy-Trance genre but if you're talking about Trance as it was in it's "heyday" of the late 90's early 2000's, I haven't heard much but I also haven't really been "digging" for that style recently.
