Yep. I wish they would fix this already, a $20 bpm counter detects BPM more accurately than traktor's complex algorithms. I would say 30% of my tracks are analyzed wrong, this really needs to be fixed on the next update 5 updates ago.

you can also change the range that it puts the BPM into when you analyze. it's not so good for me because i play all sorts of stuff but for those who play only one or two types of music it helps a ton.

Look into the "traktor bible". it's brilliant and will give you all you need.

Even with limiting Traktor gets 1/3 of my tracks wrong.

True. And very nice of you to say.

Yeah about 90% of my BPMs are correct.
Halving , doubling ... no big deal . I like to have a large BPM range.

I just take the result as a rough guide. When i'm gridding up a psy album for example, when traktor tells me the bpm is 119, when i'm pretty sure its gonna be in the 140-150 range, i know that some time has to be spent gridding that puppy. Like karlos its no big deal to me to fix the bpm with one click. MiK also shows half or double bpms half the time.

Traktor detects the bpm better than Any other program I have used. Bpm detection is a sketchy process, you also have realize ontop of detecting the bpm is is also trying to lay a solid grid down which is something no bpm program is going to do. As long as you set the bpm rang correctly traktor is provides fairly accurate results with only a small percentage of tracks being incorrect.
