It is better for scratching but at a price - with normal play it damages the vinyl. If you use only dvs no need to worry.

It's all DVS for me , I don't even have a vynil collection anymore , lol . Glad to know I should be good , thanks

What a shame that you bought these since Stanton JUST announced a Mk2 version of these at NAMM. At very least, it could've dropped prices on used Mk1 versions.
