USB-C connection on DJM 850 and CDJ 2000

Hi everybody,

I'm waiting for the delivery of my new Macbook Pro 13'' with touchbar. Because this one only has USB-C ports, I'd like to know if somebody has experienced any problem with the connection with pioneer or NI equipment, if there were no problem, what is the best and more secure connection?

I use 3 kind of setup: Setup 1: Connect the audio 6 and X1 MK2 to the computer via usb cables.
Setup 2: Connect a usb cable from the djm 850 to my computer and play with timecodes on two CDJ 2000.
Setup 3: Connect usb cable on each CDJ 2000 to my computer and play in HID MODE.
All of my usb cables are Chroma Cables from DjTechTools.

you could also just get a USB Hub that a USB C Connector.

Good strategy here -- I would still bring the extra USB-C to USB adapter in case you forget the hub at home or something so you will still be able to play via the soundcard in the mixer.

Do you know when more colors will be available, as well as versions with right-angled USB-B connectors?

Also, are there any plans for a volume discount?

This seems like the right solution for the OP. Whenever I get around to actualy buying a new laptop, I'll probably end up doing the same.

FWIW, my wife's laptop is one of the new USB-C/TB3 Macbooks, and she uses a hub and one of the Apple adapters and has had no issues. But, she also doesn't do audio stuff....just optica drives, thumb drives, keyboards, and other normal people things.
