    Default Monitor routing

I'm upgrading my system to an RME or Universal Audio interface and an Allen Heath DB4 or a comparable older analog mixer.

My question is whether I can monitor off of the high end interfaces or is the latency going to be too high to actually mix from them. I'd much rather monitor my entire system off of the interface than route all playback through my mixer and monitor off it.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated.
    Thanks!

Um...not sure I understand the setup intended (Traktor+interface+external mixer?) but unless you mix internally in Traktor (which is possible only by using a controller or midi mapping a midi capable mixer to act as one) you cannot use a external mixer and have master output coming from a separate interface.

Or did you wanted for some reason to route the master from the mixer through the external interface and then run the monitor/booth output from it?
