Default Denon MC7000 Traktor mapping confusion?

Hey guys, can anyone explain to me the reason Denon have mapped the MC7000 controller in Traktor with 5 separate device mappings all working in tandem? It seems very illogical to me and a few things require u to have the layout set in the way Denon set it up, which they inform u to use as your layout settings........why?

I don't want to use their crappy layout settings.

Thanx in advance to anyone that can provide an explanation on this! Cheers.

    Two reasons.

    1) They used a lot of modifiers.
    2) Having multiple devices helps keep things better organized.
