DIY Drum Machine
Dear fellow DJTTheads,
It's been a long time since my last posts, so it's nice to be back
I want to share with you a little project I've been working on the past year, initially as a DIY workshop for the Fasma Festival in Athens, and later on adding few more features here and there. As my ongoing quest to build the poor-man's DIY Elektron machine.
Its a pocket 4 voice drum machine (Kick, Tom, Snare and Hat) 2 Digital Oscillator modules, 2 PCM sample playback. Inspired by the Pocket Operators and Bastl Trinity devices. It is based on the Teensy micro-controller and utilizing the Audio Library and some modifications to it.
It has Pitch, Decay, Pitch Modulation and Distortion controls for each voice. 16 step tap patterns, "Parameter Lock" and randomizing automation. 4 patters, can be permanently stored on the device together with the Automation data, and up to 8 patterns sequence chain are some of the key features.

Curious to hear your thoughts on this little guy. What kind of additional features would like to see in something like this and if you have built something similar definitely would love to see it!
All best,
T.
