    Hey isn't that RLP?

Looks interestnig I guess, but doesn't really indicate how the product works...or integrates into existing gear. :/

Default it's fun but i think it's not for me

I saw nextbeat, its fun but i think it's not for me.
It's not a single controller but a full pack of PC, controller and audio interface:

It has a software to read your music storage, store cue points, loops, sampling and track info like Traktor + Notebook but without sync and many other features.

It has a controller to control 2 decks basic eq, effects, loops, cuepoint set interface, cuepoint juggling (even for those really fast jugglers). It has a touch interface like stanton sc3

It has a wireless controller (but without wireless headphone or wireless microphone input) to control eq, effects and cuepoint juggling

It has 2 audio outs to plug into your Mixer for mixing externally or plug to your PA System, and it comes with microfone input with possibility to add effects

Well, we are in the beginning of a revolution and all type of hybrid/standalone gears may emerge from it, but i think this software has no use for laptop DJs, maybe it will fit with DJs that want to become digital but without the need of laptops for live performing.

No-one got interested about the nextbeat?

I really found it a fun gear to play with, DJTT really should develop a basic midi wireless controller don't you think?

mspaint drawing is so fun, it's relaxing...

lolocopter at that picture! I think that looks awesome, but how much flac would we get if every digital dj had a hilarious tricked out guitar hero controller!? The midifighter is fairly low profile at least, so even when everyone has one it stays out of the way.

As far as nextbeat is concerned, it's not "creative" in my opinion. It looks fantastic for a generic club performance, which is fine and music selection and entertainment from the dj is important.

However, I'm more of an electronic indie band sort of guy, and although I do DJ, I prefer the ideal that I'm creating my own music, with my own unique effects, with my own unique instrument sounds that I've created (especially when playing to an audience that has come to see your band play). I know I'm a minority here as far as my style of expression goes, but I think the expressivity of the nextbeat is lacking IMHO.

The nextbeat is a wireless portable control unit that enables performers to move free from the main device, resulting in more dynamic and energetic live performances inside booths promise Wacom.

The guitar hero case was an option, only the middle part of it is the controller
you can buy or build any case to your wireless controller, just plug it in like you plug the nextbeat wireless in and out his case.

Everything we have is becoming wireless, every stage instrument is becoming wireless, so why dont we think about wireless controllers?
