Default Lil John "Get Low" Beatgridding IMPOSSIBLE

I swear, I've been sitting here for an hour trying to grid this properly and can't do it for the life of me....

Anyone else grid this track in traktor? It's killing me...
All I have to do is play music, and make sure it is fist pumpin material.

I'll be honest, havn't heard that song in ages, but from what I remember, it should be pretty straightforward? From memory, I'm thinking its about 100 bpm? and it doesnt

it should be as simple as dropping a grid marker on beat one of a measure, which is the first BWuh in the pattern (bwuh bwuh, bwuh, bwuh bwuh... lol hehe)

but you might have a bad vinyl rip maybe? if that song was even released on vinyl?

just line up the claps, the song has claps throughout its entirety on beats 2 and 4.

Yup as long as its not off vinyl it should be reasonably straightforward, as sine says. from my boy racer days *cough* that particular track is pretty much breakeatish so use the snares as reference dude. drop a grid on the first one and use tap to get the bpm if you are having trouble, then just follow the track through and adjust it as ya go.

I have it down as 100.980 bpm, with the beatgrid on the first kick.

Warp it in Ableton, grid it in Traktor

Why not just don't stress over it and beatmatch it by ear? Or warp it in ableton...

Or get a different version of the .mp3. It can't be that hard.

Haha I hate that remix, I prefer the original or Danger remix, I never had a problem with it auto gridded though.

Well, I should probably mention that Its from iTunes so I don't think it's a bad rip, but what keeps happening is that I'll get the first 4 beats grided just fine and then my grid will just keep getting more and more off as the song progresses, it's almost like trying to grid a track with a human drummer that doesn't always have the same amount of time in between hits drum hits, I can't figured out why the track is acting this way....
