    I do know the VCI uses a 9 VDC Power Adapter at least 500ma,

    I believe its the common 2.1mm connector with center pin positive

    Thanks DJ Timmy.
    By the way if I didnt mention it earlier, everything works fine when i have the VCI plugged into one usb port and the Fast Track Pro into the other, it's when you throw the powered usb hub into the mix that everything goes awry.
