Default Anti skate not working. New tone arm?.

    I just got a set if technics 1210 mk3d which I'm loving.
I've been checking them over and the anti skate doesn't seem to work.

How serious an issue is this?. Does it mean the bearings are gone?. Do i need a knew tone arm?.

As far as i can tell it doesn't seem to effect playback. I've tried dvs and played a long 9 minute record and there isn't any skipping.

    Thanks in advance.

It can be an easy fix. Please confirm which method you used to check the antiskate resistance (float and track or blank record). Then post your results.

Hi, I tried the blank record method as well as putting the counter weight as far back as it goes then turning the anti skate back and forward.
