    Default Random question alert

New here so bear with me. I currently work as a telecommunication engineer and want to start djing in my spare time. My question is, are there any type of djing equipment that utilises VoIP software in terms of improving equipment performance?

Voice over Internet? Can't see how that would improve equipment performance anyway mate?

Maybe you know something I don't, though...

if you mean can you steal stuff from work to help you DJ, then the answer is no. unlucky.
i cant either though but i do own my business so i would be stealing from myself anyway

Is this something like using the voice to trigger midi commands?

ah i hadnt thought about voice activated. not sure how easy it would be to get working with a lot of background noise etc.
i saw some DJ recently had a midi ring on his finger. he could move his hand about and it sent midi controls to his setup to control FX etc. was pretty cool.
