Default [Ableton] Midi Twister - Controlling different knobs when encoder pushed down

    Guys,

This must be possible but I'm stuck. I want to map a midi twister know to control two different software knobs in Ableton depending on whether the encoder is pressed down or not.

I understand the effect of the encoder push needs to be configured for each knob in the midi fighter utility, but none of the options result in a what I want :/

Regardless of whether the encoder is pushed down or not, when I twist it Ableton receives the same midi information.

(to be clear I tried "shift encoder hold" and "shift encoder toggle", however twisting the encoder seems to send the same cc code regardless of the shift toggle?)

    What am I doing wrong?

    Thanks!

A factory reset solved the problem...

A bit disappointing I needed a factory reset on a new unit though.

    Unhappy

I had exactly the same issue...
    new unit...updated firmware...
shift encoder hold/toggle were not working - still sending out on ch 1 regardless of whether the encoder was held/toggled.

Did a factory reset and then it worked.

I agree, this should not be required on a brand new device.
