    Deff the 3000 for me, though why they called it the cdj-3000 is beyond me

    XDJ is the cheaper line and naming their new flagship after them would be demoting it in a sense. Plus if they called these XDJs people would still wonder when the next CDJs will be out.

    The CDJ name on it's own carry a lot of weight that wasn't worth throwing away just to keep the product name technically accurate. Your average DJ still calls any standalone player a CDJ anyways.

    Blame the people in suits and the people who turned a product name into a category ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
