    Default S3 Remix Decks?

Hi there! I feel like I'm losing my mind here. I recently bought the Kontrol S3, which is advertised as having remix deck support and has the "samples" button to prove it. However, I can't seem to get it to do anything. All I can do is play the topmost row of each slot with the top row of pads, and mute each of those slots with the lower pads. Pressing shift and hitting the bottom row, or spinning the encoders, yields no alternate functions.

Is this supposed to be this way? If not, does anyone know where I can find a mapping to make it work?

Pressing Shift and a top pad stops the sample as well, but that's it. The S3 doesn't have displays, so you can't browse samples or adjust the volume / filter, as there wouldn't be any visual feedback.

Better get an F1 if you want full control over the remix decks.

I got a pair of D2s for like 200€ used. If you want to experiment that's a great piece of kit, and it really increases the functionality of any traktor controller, with the big screen which you can use to browse tracks with, too.
