You've heard of the famous DJTT "Mix Train"? last one was an electro-rock one i think. Could be something to look into after the new year.

From memory, i think it was 6 guys, each doing lets say 20 minutes each. They agree on a bpm, style etc and leave a good loop at the end for the next guy. Usually takes about a month to finish as there's quite a few uploads involved but quite fun. Have a quick search there's at least two that i know of.
