    Default Encoders Type

    Hi,

I am considering to buy Midi Fighter Twister. I have few quesions.
    - Are the emcoders on the Midi Fighter steped?
    - Or are thety smooth like on the Elektron boxes?
    - Also how is the encoder resistance?
    - Is it loose and unbalanced like on the Berhinger stuff?
    - Is it un-ven like NI stuff?
    - Does it become loose after some time?

    Thank you

    Hey Sancho,

Encoders on Twister are not "stepped" (detented) like maschine of X1 browser knob for example. They are one of smoothest feeling encoders that you can find in a MIDI controller.
The nature of the encoder is to get loosed over time, it really depends on how often it will be used and also the humidity can affect it's lifespan.
