Hey Forum, I am learning to DJ and started off on a DDJ-FLX4. I have become comfortable with the FLX4. Good little set of decks.

I did my first lesson last week and it was on CDJ3000s with a DJMV10 mixer. Needless to say I was a bit out of my league with all the new features, nobs and dials. Not to mention the lack of a laptop screen and my notes on the hot queues!!

It was a good lesson. It has shown me what I need to do next. Before I do my next lesson I want to be more comfortable with using this equipment. Less fussed about the mixer mainly the players I want to get comfortable with.

Its nearing the time where I need to upgrade my FLX4 as its holding me back. So looking for your advice really on what is the best next step. I don't want to fork out many $$$$'s on my home setup but would like your opinions on what is going to be the next best option for me.

I am looking for the next set of decks to be as closely matched to the CDJ3000's as possible in terms of look and feel while keeping the price reasonable. Ideally need a good screen to get me away from that laptop. Appreciate your suggestions.
