New here and would appreciate some advice. I sold my 1210s in 2012 (£300 for pair, with Texhnics mixer and vinyl…). Last year bought a DDJ400, got the bug back and now wanting to create a home setup, but a little confused on options.

Firstly, my main aim is to purchase another pair of 1210s and have that pretty much sorted. I mainly play trance, with a bit of house and techno. But, I do enjoy the digital side of things too, so current options are:

1) 1210s, Xone 92 and at some point either XDJ1000 mk2 or CDJs. CDJs likely overkill for what I’ll be doing, my collection is mainly vinyl but as mentioned, like the idea of having a digital setup too
2) 1210s and a controller, preferably standalone like the XDJ AZ. A similar(ish) price to Xone 92 and XDJs, but not overly keen on having the 1210s so far apart. But this kinda gives me the benefit of a mixer similar to the A9 and CDJs.

I’ve no plans on playing out, but am thinking it’d be fun to try some streaming or YouTube videos. I’ve got no problems with the style of digital DJs of today, but that’s not my thing. I like doing long mixes with little effects used, so most of my digital options would be “wasted”. I’m leaning more to the Xone92 and some XDJs, can always upgrade if I want or need in the future. Anything else I’m missing though?
