My first reply! Also not my style, as I’m more of a ‘bouncing off the walls’ type. I’m a proponent of short mixes and have no problem with them at all, but a nice deep tech house mix like this could use a bit more time to really develop. Right when it started to go somewhere and I felt like dancing, it (unfortunately) ended. Keep heading down this path… you have some sounds and stylistics that Carl Cox has made a living from. You’re not him yet, but that’s why you’re here.
Thanks Omega,
I understand what you mean and I will pay more attention next time. The thing is that in those short videos , it is often hard to keep the groove because mixing 5 tracks or more in just 10 min is … different than a normal mix. Usually I keep the flow going for longer , leave the tracks to develop and then try to smoothly transition to the next idea/groove/ break …
There is a long way ahead of me But I LOVE what I do and I’ll keep Crankin’ that TECH HOUSE
CHEERS!
