4 channel controller?

4 channel controller?

sorry, know there’s probably millions of posts like this but looking for advice folks.

basically i’ve always played with decks and a mixer but have loved playing about with the 4 decks traktor pro on the laptop so now i want to start playing it with a controller and myabe playing out with it.

i’m looking for a controller on which i can have hands on for all 4 decks on traktor pro, preferably at the same time. i dont use the crossfader much, (usually mix with the volume sliders) so 4 actual channels on the controller would be ideal. also don’t use effects much so not too bothered about full control of them.

i currently have a 2 channel mixer, laptop but no external soundcard. what is your advice for the best setup for what i’m after and what
controller/soundcard do you recommend. Budget would ideally be a bit under £500

thanks in advance for your help

Get 4 Nano Knontrolls and call it a day, most efficient set you can get in my opinion if you have no interest in jog wheels.

And for a soundcard I would just go with the Audio 4. Set it up for internal mode mixing, and then route output A to a channel 1 on your mixer and then output B to channel B on your mixer.

So now channel 1 is you master out and channel 2 is your cue.

if you’re gonna mix internally, then the Audio2 does the same thing if you’re gonna cue straight from your mixer since it has two output channels.

ddm4000?

i was looking for the same thing and couldn’t really find much else..

Audio2 is an excellent choice as well

You could wait for this to come out…

That behringer looks good, would that and an audio 2 be enough for what i’m, looking for? Sorry, completely clueless when it comes to this. That 4midiloop one that isnt out yet was one of the 1st things i saw when i started looking. Pity it isn’t out yet. Ohm64 controller could be ideal but maybe a bit expensive if i’m buying a soundcard too. Also looks like an old chess game I had

Thanks for all the replies

that new traktor controller teased today looks like it took alot of design cues from the 4midiloop controller…hhhhmmmm

yeah, you’d need the audio2, ddm4000, and a midi-to-usb cable.
i found some online for $10 that work fine

Korg zero 4, ecler evo 4

that looks amazing… much better than the NI controller that’s just been announced imo
