I thought it was 50GB for 50days? if downloaded by the time they said?
mine said 50gb for 50 days

Normal free account is 5GB (http://www.box.net/pricing/) and has a limit of 50GB if you pay $19.99. I guess the promotion is register now and get 50GB on your personal account.
Upload limit on a free account activated via iOS is 100MB, this is a pretty nice solution to backup music.
Desktop app is only for Business and Enterprise accounts tho

No PC Sync… gutted
It’s not as good as dropbox when it comes to keeping folders synced, but 50 gigs is 50 gigs.

sadly there’s no free desktop sync. so no easy way to upload/update files..
Just tried to upload one part of a mix train which was 300 mb and it said it was to large. There must be a per file size limit. 
EDIT: it’s 100 mb and now i remember seeing that. i still like dropbox better for a free utility.

in terms of service dropbox hands down… i also have a filesonic premium account which transfers files between it and dropbox (and vice-versa) almost instantly so i can keep stuff in the cloud, but not clogging up my free dropbox.
