A bit of an unusual setup perhaps?

I’m tired of lugging CDJs, a mixer, and my laptop to house parties, and would like to look at a controller for mobile gigs. I’d also like to begin looking into a 4-deck setup, and I was thinking about doing something like this:

Get a VMS4 and connect it to TSP2 to control Deck A and Deck B.

Use my Traktor Audio 6 with my two TTs to control decks C and D via timecode.

This would give me 4 decks at home, and a mobile setup for playing out.

The main question I want to know is, would the 4-deck with timecode setup work?

Maybe its just me but I don’t find a huge difference of luggage between CDJs/mixer and turntables/controller.

i suspect he would only then be lugging the VMS4+laptop to house parties :wink:

Exactly zestoi, sorry for the ambiguity. I’d be using only a controller/laptop when I played out, and then I’d take it home and use it as my mixer as well as a controller for a 4-deck setup.

Oh sorry, I understood you were taking the TTs and the VMS4 with the laptop.
