[a bit ot] graphics drivers
could anything bad potentially happen if i update them?
i really dont want stuff getting messed up.
Traktor’s graphic load is pretty low so I wouldn’t worry too much about it. You could always roll back to the earlier version if you have any issues.
how would i roll back?
What operating software?
windows XP sp 3
dell latitude d531 using and amd turion 64 (so i think the graphics is ATI)
uninstall new driver, install old driver
ati drivers need updating. its almost crucial as their catalyst drivers tend to be a hair less polished than the forcewear drivers from nvidia.
you shouldnt have any issues. if youre paranoid you can uninstall them. if youre really paranoid you can uninstall them, run driver cleaner, clean registry, install standard vga graphics adapter driver, install catalyst driver.
