A couple of questions about the good old Audio 4 DJ card

Hey,

I’m planning on getting an Allen & Heath Xone 22 to add to my laptop and DJTT VCI-100. Which means getting a soundcard.
I was initially looking at the new audio 2 dj but since that only has outs it makes recording thru my laptop a bit of a hassle…as far as I can tell (?).
I figured the audio 4 dj card would have gotten cheaper now, which it has :slight_smile: so I looked at that instead.
Point is, with this set up (i.e. no timecodes) can I wire the mixers record output back into the laptop through the audio 4 dj? So I can record it with traktor.
The other thing is, which cables do I need? Cause the multicores are for the audio 8, arent they?
Any tips would be great :slight_smile:

Yes. You’ll route the Booth Out or any auxiliary out from the mixer to an in on the interface.

Quick noob q about the audio 4. Is it 4 mono or 4 stereo so I can have a four channel mixer hooked up.
