A Question about Editing Patterns on the Maschine mk2 HardWare

A Question about Editing Patterns on the Maschine mk2 HardWare

i know there are so many shortcuts on the hardware..

here’s what i’m having trouble doing (and i’ve searched for hours on the internet before asking.. BEGGING! Haha)

i am recording live loops..
so drums, then piano, then synth etc.
i choose pattern mode on the controller and push a pad on the controller to designate the pattern’s cell.
then i practice before recording my piano over my drums, for example.
i set the both at 4 bars.
now.. when i press record, and i record my piano,
if i mess up- how can i simply erase the midi notes recorded & keep the same cell on the same pads, with the asme amount of bars.

does this make sense?

i know how to delete the pad entirely..
but i just want to erase the notes recorded into maschine- WITHOUT having to use my computer to highlight the notes and then pressing delete..

there has to be a shortcut to just erase the notes and not the entire pattern.

does anyone know this simple trick? please teach me!

Shift + Pad 1 to undo the recording. If you want to delete specific notes and leave others, highlight them with Shift + Select + Corresponding pads, then Shift + Pad 9 to clear.
