Abelton not seeing midi input ?

Abelton not seeing midi input ?

Just a quick question, I was going to play around with abelton, but it does not seem to be seeing my midi input. Its seeing the output fine but I have no input at all, am using the akai lpd8 and abelton live intro.

Any ideas .

Have you gone into the settings and turned the input on?

yep.

right i switched it all of and started again, and now its came on strange.
