Ableton Live 8 / 9

Simple question,

I’ve got the money, just need to sort out wich version i’m going to buy.
Read a lot about Live 9, about the CPU usage jumping, but I don’t know what to chose.

Someone who can help me on this choise?

Would you be buying the suite version? If so, the inclusion of Max for Live makes it a no-brainer to buy Live 9. There’s lots of other reasons to buy 9, and I personally like it a lot more, but that’s a major one, from a cost benefit perspective.

What about the CPU usage ?
A friend of mine installed it on his PC (believe me, a decent one), and it was constantly jumping around 29-36.
Did you encountered that too?

I dont see major difference in cpu usage on live 9 and max for live is just amazing so I ll go for the 9 if I was you.

I would go for Live 9.
