Ableton Midi Modifier Question

Does anyone know how to Midi Map a controller (VCI-100) in Ableton so that you can control 4 channel faders independently with only 2 channel faders on the controller? (Just as you can with Ean’s tsi in Traktor)

I understand how to map Traktor to do so with modifiers but I’m not too familiar with Ableton. I’ve been playing around with Midipipe as I thought it might be helpful to do so. I guess I should mention I’m using a Mac.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Unfortunately, Ableton Live MIDI mapping scheme is not as evolved and flexible as Traktor, so doing what you want won’t be as “easy”, as you probably will need to rely on additional softwares. Check the DJ Techtools archives…
