So I’m using an operator to make some whoosh and siren noises and they are working for the most part. But sometimes they don’t activate/work during a song?
For instance, I have a build up going and its only audible during the track when I start the track before the build up begins. It doesn’t work when I start the track like in the middle of the buildup.
I also have a set of 8 rate increases in the operator and only the first 7 work and the last one doesn’t work, even though I have all the same settings on them.
i think the problem is because the midi note is telling it what to play mate.so if you start it after the beginning of the note it won’t trigger the clip.to sort this use the freeze then flatten(takes seconds to do).it creates an audio file for you which frees up a bit of c.p.u,you can still edit it a bit and if you need to you can un-freeze it to finely edit.that way the audio file will play from wherever you start it.
edit,if you have sidechaining it wont freeze so you’ll have to bounce it to a new audio track.
